Drafter
Responsibilities:
-
Performing duties as assigned in regards to projects for clients in Land Development, Transportation, and Municipal designs.

Provide design support to Design Engineers
-
Produce CAD drawings and design layouts
-
Preparation of plan and profiles of streets and various underground utilities
-
Work with the project team to execute projects on time and on budget
-
Review design layouts to find and resolve problems involving compatibility with basic design concepts
-
Compile drawings into plan set, organize and manage the Sheet Index throughout all phases of the project
-
Develop quantities and document calculations
-
Participate in design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make corrections to drawings as requested by Project Managers
Capabilities and Credentials:
-
Additional years of experience in AutoCAD is a plus
-
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
-
Proficient in Civil3D or MicroStation is a plus
-
Proficient in ArcGIS creating professional quality exhibits for transportation feasibility studies specifically translating between *.shp files and *.dgn files is a plus

Good Communication Skills

Education and Experience

Must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation, Autodesk and/or LDD software.

Proficient in ArcGIS creating professional quality exhibits for transportation feasibility studies specifically translating between *.shp files and *.dgn files is a plus

Recommended 4+ years experience in Civil Engineering for Land Development and Municipal Site Development.
